Alex Kamara Studio is an independent visual communication practice based near Manchester. The studio produces self-initiated and commissioned works across image-making, printed matter, visual identity, editorial design and websites.

Biography

Alex Kamara is a British-Sierra Leonean graphic artist, photographer and designer with nine years of independent practice. The work began with a first portfolio and a place at Central Saint Martins.

The influences that shape the work are wide: Africa and Europe; graffiti culture, street typography and music. He built the practice at that intersection to make work that looks and feels alive.

Projects are worked on with the conviction that what gets made matters.
